Well I did it...enough said lol jk. It was HOT and HUMID and the race started at 7am, I really wish it could have started at 630, sunrise was 635 why not? I did most of the race at 1:1 intervals. I finished in 3:04:09 which was my “C” goal, but hey I did it and have major room to improve. My amazing husband ran it in 1:50:09 a PR for him! Up next is the Marine Corps Half Marathon in Jacksonville, FL Oct 5th! I hope it is cooler and less humid! By the way that was state #6 for me!
Sadly someone did pass away, he was down at mile 1, Todd passed him while he was getting CPR. Very scary! Prayers to his family and to the runners who were traumatized as well.
I know I haven’t been the best blogger, which should give you all a heads up that the scale isn’t moving in the right direction either. I have been deciding between rejoining Weight Watchers or just staying with my fitness pal. I think i am staying with MFP because I really like the way it scans so much better. I am trying to refind the success I have had before and what is missing now. I have decided I will have Todd start tracking my weight and that may be motivating. So Wednesday Weigh ins start tomorrow. Since I work nights, I will weigh in the afternoon before work just like if I worked days and got up for work. I will be making some changes to my blog here soon, so if you are still will me THANKS!

Diet Bet and being completely honest!
Recently at spin class I was introduced to another woman who frequents the gyms and she mentioned joining a diet bet game that had a $50 buy in. I told her I was interested in diet bet but not a $50 buy in to let me know if she was going to to start her own game with a lower buy in. Within the week we friended each other on facebook and she started a diet bet game! Official weigh ins started Friday the 5th and the game started the 7th. If you aren’t familiar with how diet bet works you can read all about it here. Basically you pay the fee to join, the computer takes care of everything, two days before the game starts you are prompted to send in your pics. You are required to send in two pictures, a full body pic (dressed of course) on your scale and a pic of the read out (preferably digital).
I have been completely avoiding bringing up what I weigh and staying away from weekly weigh in posts because, well I am embarrassed of how far I left myself go. But today I will be completely honest and keep myself accountable!

sigh. I recall being 191.6 on my daughter’s bday August 20th. Well no where to go but down from here right? I am officially on week 3 of my couch to 10k program and have started honestly counting my calories on mfp again! And a huge pat of my back I resisted the food spread at my orientation for bfast yesterday, lunch yesterday, cookies in the afternoon, and bfast today! I packed my own lunch and two snacks and water and that is what I had! It was super super hard to resist the cheese! Hubby is researching paleo recipes so we may switch back here soon!

Sitting on the Sidelines
That is how I feel lately. I have been doing the yo yo thing with the weight, not getting past lunch counting points/calories, and not hitting the gym as planned. I find myself wishing I could be as motivated as my friends or the fellow bloggers I read. I was sitting on the sidelines just wishing I could be like them in single digit jeans and running sub 10 min/miles.
I started fresh on Wednesday with My fitness pal (annakay76). I wanted weight watchers to give me the motivation to lose 60lbs like I did 8 years ago but I just continued to pay the $43 a month and not lose even 5lbs since the beginning of December. I love the scanner option on MFP, the fact friends can see what I eat/exercise, that it is a little like facebook, and the best of all it is FREE!!!! The scale has started moving back down! My goal is to be under 200 lbs by the time we move, yes we are moving!
We finally got our official military orders to move to a new command in Kings Bay, GA. We are so excited to move to a smaller town with hopefully a bit slower lifestyle for us. We will be there middle of March and already have a house penciled in for us. I am also working with the schools to figure out what to do with the high schoolers and the best school to fit Chase’s IEP. I love planning!
I am off the sidelines and you will be hearing from me more often!!!
